Your support is critical for families in Myanmar
On March 28th 2025, a large earthquake rocked Myanmar, causing widespread devastation. More than 4,000 lives have been lost, and over 6,000 are seriously injured.
Hospitals are overwhelmed, and critical infrastructure has been destroyed. Injured people are flooding into hospitals. Medical teams are doing everything they can, but they are working under extreme conditions.
As this disaster continues to unfold, the number of affected and injured people keeps rising. This is a tragedy for families in Myanmar, and they need our help right now.

We need your help more than ever
We have been present in Myanmar since 2008, providing rehabilitation and psychological support to landmine victims and people with disabilities. We've also trained medical teams and organisations of people with disabilities in disaster preparedness and risk management.
Right now, our teams are on the ground responding to the devastating earthquake. We are working tirelessly, facing overwhelming challenges, to provide medical care, psychological support, and essential supplies to those who’ve lost everything in the earthquake.
We are mobilising to deliver critical emergency care, but we can’t do it without you.
Together, we can provide:
- Emergency rehabilitation
Our teams are providing vital rehabilitation to those who have been critically injured and to people with disabilities. They’re working tirelessly to prevent injuries from becoming permanent and give survivors the chance to recover fully. - Emergency kits
We are distributing emergency kits to fill basic needs of families who’ve lost everything. These kits include tents, sleeping mats, inflatable pillows, blankets, hydro-alcoholic gel, gloves and survival kits for extreme weather conditions. - Essential mobility aids
Hospitals are running out of assistive devices, and thousands of injured people are struggling to get the care they desperately need. Our teams are distributing wheelchairs, crutches, and more, to ensure that no one is left without the support they need. - Trauma and mental health support
Survivors of this disaster have witnessed the most horrific things that can haunt them forever. We’re providing vital psychological care to victims and emergency first-responders, who are bearing the emotional weight of this crisis.
You can provide hope and relief to families whose lives have been torn apart by this catastrophe.
Can we count on your support?

“The smell of bodies buried under the rubble was always present, we could smell the bodies everywhere in the town.”
“Families are living outside, away from the buildings.”
“The situation requires a re-intensification of relief efforts to prevent the death toll from this disaster from getting any worse.”
