About Humanity & Inclusion

Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is a global charity working alongside disabled and vulnerable people in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster.

Operating since 1982, we work in 60 countries worldwide, with over 5,000 local staff running projects directly and with local partners. Together, we support more than 2.6 million people per year.

Our teams are often among the first to respond to natural disasters and crises, and we stay behind long afterwards to ensure that disabled and injured people get the long-term support they need.

How we work with the media

Our UK media team can facilitate access to HI's expert spokespeople for comment and interview and provide a range of high quality reports, case studies, photos and video. We can also organise country visits for journalists to see our work in action.

Our spokespeople can provide expertise on a range of themes including humanitarian crises, landmines and explosive remnants of war, healthcare and rehabilitation, disability inclusion and rights.
