Humanity & Inclusion UK was founded in 1999 and is a UK registered charity (no.1082565) and a company limited by guarantee. Humanity & Inclusion is the new name of Handicap International.

Together, the eight national associations of the Humanity & Inclusion network mobilise resources and manage projects around the world.
During 2020, HI ran 420 projects in 59 countries. Our programmes are implemented with a wide range of local, national and international partners.
With the generous support of the UK public and institutional donors, HI UK supported 24 countries during 2020, as well as nine global programmes. The projects supported cover a wide range of HI’s work, including emergency relief, mine action, rehabilitation and inclusive education.

Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent charity working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work tirelessly alongside disabled and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
