We are very happy to welcome Chloe Marshall as the new Chair of Humanity & Inclusion UK.

Chloe brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to the role, having been a dedicated member of our board of trustees for more than a decade, including 8 years as Vice Chair.

“I am delighted to step in to the role of Chair. For me personally, I take this very seriously in terms of my commitment to HI as an organisation and our life-changing work.

I can speak for the whole board when I say it’s impressive how far we have come as a UK charity, and this is largely thanks to the efforts of our fantastic staff team.

Globally it’s a difficult time right now, in terms of the reduction in support for international aid among key states, the nature of humanitarian crises we face and the unprecedented level of need amongst the most vulnerable communities.

However, I believe that we're in a very good position to respond to these challenges in an agile, creative way. And together, we are determined to do everything we can for the people that we're here to serve.”

With Chloe’s guidance, we look forward to continuing our vital work supporting disabled and vulnerable people worldwide.

We’d like to offer our sincere thanks to our outgoing Chair, Peter Burdin, for his fantastic contribution and leadership over the past eight years.
